Nearby Bondalem, on the north coast of Bali, lays the resort surrounded by the Indian ocean and tropical fruit gardens. An exotic garden of Eden near by the seaside, which invites you to linger and let go .The idyllic resort, comprises of over 11 individually designed bungalows built in Balinese style, with 30 beds and a temple like seminar room. On the lawn , underneath the shadow of the trees you can let your eyes wander across the sea.
A large sweet water pool invites you for a refreshing dip.
The Bali Mandala Resort handles resourses consciously. Almost all the food supplies are from local providers and fishermen. They even offer the children from the local village their own environmental courses. The garden is a sanctuary for birds and bees.
Its directly located at the seafront, next to a black sand lava beach, far away from the typical noisy tourist spots and in the largest coconut forest in Bali, from the resort its great to undertake excursions. Unlike the beaches in the south, the sea here is calm. The water temperature has a pleasant temperature during the whole year of in between 28 and 30 degrees and invites you to snorkel at the nearby coral reefs of Langsunn. The resort can organize various excursions for you , like a volcano excursion, hikes, temple visits, diving trips in the famous coral reefs and much more.
The village of Bondalem is only a 10 minute walk away and has about 5000 residents. Its located inland at the foot of the mountain and has a local market with plenty small stalls with typical snacks and 4 temples.
In the Spa of the resort you can spoil yourself from head to toe. An excellent team offers treatments and massages such as Mandi Lulur, which is a typical massage from Bali with a flower bath.
If you go snorkelling directly in front of the hotel you might with a bit of luck see some rare subtropical fish and admire beautiful coral gardens. You can also rent out a kayak or Stand up paddle board.
The restaurant is located directly at the lavabeach, overlooking the sea. The rich, much praised meals are served as a buffet and is prepared fresh daily. Freshly picked fruit from the tree, the famous Balinese rice, coconuts, tofu, chicken, and fish , fresh vegetables and of course vegetarian meals are part of the daily menu. Hot drinks such as coffee and tea and water are included.
