The Barefoot Eco Hotel offers a total of 64 rooms:
20 Beach Front Rooms: Located on the ground floor with direct access to the white sandy beach. Spacious rooms (approximately 50 sqm including veranda) with a double bed or two single beds.
20 Ocean View Rooms: Situated on the upper floor with spectacular sea views. Large rooms (approximately 50 sqm including terrace) with double or twin beds.
Family Rooms: Consist of 2 interconnected beachfront or ocean view rooms. Maximum occupancy: 6 persons.
12 Beach Side Rooms: These charming rooms are situated next to our endless white beach with partial sea views.
12 Sea Side Rooms: Affordable and comfortable accommodations, just a few steps from the beach.
The Barefoot Eco Hotel is nestled in a nearly untouched forest on the local island of Hanimaadhoo in the pristine north of the Maldives. The Barefoot offers complimentary yoga sessions every morning, lasting 45 minutes (Introduction - Breath Practice - Warm-up - Standing and Seated Sequence - Meditation). These sessions are suitable for anyone looking to escape the daily grind, stress, and worries of modern life.
Pampering is a priority at the hotel's own spa area. Ayurvedic treatments and classic massages can be booked for an additional fee.
The dive center guarantees the highest quality and professionalism, offering complete sets of rental equipment (for a fee), including buoyancy control devices, masks, snorkels, fins, wetsuits, dive computers, as well as tailored services. All levels of PADI and SSI courses are available, including "NITROX" or "ENRICHED AIR DIVER" and complimentary "TRY DIVES". The azure blue water and the diversity of dive sites are captivating (20-30 within a 40-minute boat ride). All areas are unique and known for their abundance of sharks and manta rays, as well as a variety of hard and soft corals and fish in all sizes and colors.
The kitchen team, specialized in Mediterranean cuisine, delights guests with creative and unique combinations, sourcing almost all ingredients from local suppliers. Half-board includes a breakfast buffet and a choice of lunch or dinner. Guests can also enjoy fresh juices and light snacks at the panoramic bar and snack bar.

We would be happy to book your flight for you. We research flight options for you from Austria, Germany, Switzerland or from wherever you want to depart. The prices are offered at the current Internet tariff plus a service fee. The flight prices can change several times a day and are based on supply & demand and the holiday seasons.
For a more environmentally friendly arrival, we can also book the train journey to your airport on request (Rail & Fly). The CO2 emissions of your flight can be compensated via atmosfair - Indigourlaub takes over 50% of your compensation-fee.

Connecting Flight:
From Male, there is a connecting flight to Hanimaadhoo (45 minutes flight time) – this domestic flight is included in the travel price.
For the domestic flight, the following baggage regulations apply: 20 kg of checked baggage + 5 kg of carry-on baggage per person. Any costs for excess baggage are to be paid directly to the airline on-site, and any fees for rescheduling to later flights (due to changes in international flight times) are to be paid separately.
Transfer:
The transfer from Hanimaadhoo to The Barefoot Eco Hotel is also included.
