The delicious food offered in this detox programme is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, the alkaline diet and the latest findings in modern nutrition. Ursula Peer, the nutritionist, has applied this programme for the last 6 years to purify the body, eliminate toxins and recover strength and beauty. We have had so many happy participants that they often come back for more.
The yoga sessions perfectly support your detox process and bring balance to body and mind. The morning session is normally a dynamic practice to energise the body and the evenings offer Yin yoga, meditation and pranayama. Inalu Antoli has great experience in yoga, bodywork and somatics so she can design the classes to suit participant’s needs. There will also be a Yoga Nidra session. A Shiatsu treatment and alkaline or liver detox pack is also included in this retreat.
The week’s menus will be created to fit your constitution. Your body will go through a purification process while at the same time the food will be delicious, satisfying and full of nourishment. Three organic meals will be offered per day. On arrival day there will be a welcome dinner and you will finish the detox week with breakfast on departure day.
Detoxification is one of the body’s most basic automatic functions for eliminating toxins through the liver, colon, kidneys and bladder, lungs and skin. Unfortunately, in this day and age, your body has hard time keeping up under emotional stress, diets based on too much animal protein, saturated and trans fats consumption, flavour enhancers and chemically modified ingredients, refined sugar and salt, too much coffee and alcohol. All this can attack our body's internal ecosystem.
Your body stores toxic material in its tissues, protecting you as long as possible from dangerous substances by isolating and surrounding them with mucous and fat. A special diet is needed in order to get rid of these toxins - this is why it is recommended to have a detox diet once or twice a year!
This is the best way to assist your body’s natural self-cleansing system in order to sustain health. It is especially important in the prevention of immune diseases, heart disease, cancer, diabetes etc. and for improvement of cell nourishment and functioning.
Yoga supports detoxing
A detox process is highly supported when doing yoga. It is natural to release toxins in a detox process, which could create certain discomfort in the participants, before they actually feel good and better than when they started. Asanas (yoga postures) help with the elimination of toxins, whether toxins are in the digestive system or any other systems in the body. It greatly supports the lymphatic system, which is also more active in a detox process. Furthermore yoga helps also with the elimination of metabolic waste resulting from stress, which we all suffer from. This could be mental, emotional or physical stress or a combination. In a detox process, we combine specific active asanas with restorative asanas. The active practice supports body circulation, brings heat into the body, stimulates mobility and helps to eliminate toxins from the body. A quiet practice relaxes the nervous system and mind, enhances breathing and helps the body to settle.

Mag. Ursula Peer is Austrian living in Mallorca and has background in business and sports science; she left the corporate world to focus on the co-relation of nutrition and health after her own personal experience of healing with a Traditional Chinese Medicine diet. She successfully runs detox retreats, workshops and cooking classes in Austria, the UK and Mallorca.
Ursula focuses on how to take responsibility for one’s health and wellbeing. Her acclaimed detox retreats attract clients from all over the world. She aims to create healthy and balanced seasonal dishes, finding the right one for every occasion, that’s why her friends call her the alchemist. She is a certified Kinesio Taping therapist and touch for health practitioner.
Antoli Inalu Ruth
Inalu is a very experienced yoga teacher and body movement therapist. She completed the Iyengar yoga teacher training in Edinburgh and studied in Pune, India. She further developed her practice following the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli. She has also studied Thai Massage and Shiatsu, which greatly enhances her work and makes it truly holistic. Her passion for working with the body began 20 years ago following contemporary dance training. She continues to love dancing and practices conscious dance, butoh and improvisation. For her awareness is core to the yoga & movement practice, grounding ourselves into the body, into the present moment, inviting our inner wisdom to shine. Yoga helps us to create a space for a vibrant stillness, creativity and vitality.
Furthermore her interest is in using the body in the most efficient possible way. She believes that we are able to release tension and return to a more balanced and harmonious state of being. Her aim is to awaken the potential stored in the body, in its very cells, muscles and tissues. Inalu believes that when people reorganize their body in a different way, they are also reorganizing their mind. When the body is activated and with more movement capacity then we are infusing life and prana and increasing vitality.

How to get there and flight booking
Please book a flight to Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) from where you will be picked up and transferred to the venue.
Flights may as well be booked through us. We investigate the best flight options and offer the latest public tariffs, which can vary throughout the day.
Spring, when the island is green and flowering, and autumn are very pleasant travel months for Mallorca, also ideal for hiking and other sports. From June to September temperatures can get very dry and hot, good for a summer-beach-vacation and chill-out. During the winter months the temperatures are mild and pleasant, the evenings can be a bit cool. Some people especially enjoy the off season quietness and nature.
