Treat yourself to a week of mindfulness, regeneration and renewed vitality with an Ayurvedic retreat at Son Manera Retreat Finca. Perched on a hill overlooking the Mallorcan village of Montuïri, the finca is surrounded by olive groves, lemon and orange trees, and 77,000 m² of unspoilt nature. In this peaceful setting, slowing down and recharging comes naturally. The combination of traditional Ayurveda, medical check-ups, daily Ayurvedic treatments, yoga and the tranquil atmosphere of the finca provides the ideal conditions to support your body and mind in a lasting and holistic way.
Ayurveda, which translates as “the knowledge of life,” is one of the world’s oldest holistic health systems. It views each person as a unique balance of body, mind and lifestyle. The aim of an Ayurvedic retreat is to restore this balance, encourage self-care and provide lasting inspiration for greater health and well-being.
During this Ayurvedic retreat in Mallorca, you will be personally guided by the experienced Ayurvedic physician Dr. Harikrishnan Maniparambil. Originally from Kerala, the birthplace of Ayurveda, he has been conducting Ayurvedic retreats in Europe for the past seven years and runs his own Ayurvedic practice in Málaga.
Your retreat begins with a comprehensive initial consultation, during which your individual constitution (dosha type) is assessed and a personalised treatment plan is created. Daily medical check-ups allow your progress to be monitored throughout the week, with treatments adjusted whenever needed.
Each day starts with a gentle yoga session led by one of the yoga teachers from the finca’s open yoga programme, preparing both body and mind for the day ahead. Afterwards, you will enjoy your individually tailored Ayurvedic treatments, carried out by experienced Ayurvedic therapists, along with prescribed Ayurvedic herbal preparations. Between treatments, there is plenty of time to savour the delicious vegetarian-vegan full-board cuisine or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Son Manera Retreat Finca.
Afternoons and evenings are yours to spend as you wish—reading a good book, enjoying meaningful conversations or simply unwinding in the tranquil atmosphere.
An Ayurveda workshop and an Ayurvedic cooking class provide practical knowledge and inspiration that you can easily integrate into your everyday life after returning home. The retreat concludes with a personal consultation with Dr. Harikrishnan Maniparambil, who will provide individual recommendations and guidance for maintaining the benefits of your retreat.

“Green Philosophy” - Sustainability and local coexistence
Sustainability is a very important topic for us. Our guests can get fresh water from the water dispenser all day long, so that there is almost no plastic bottle-rubbish. Waste separation is still an unpopular topic in Mallorca, but it is getting more and more important. We set very high standards and separate everything that can be recycled.
Anyone longing for some tranquillity and peace - this is the right place to be! Whether by the large outside saltwater pool with sunbeds, or for those cooler months in our large spa area and heated indoor pool with 2 saunas and an infrared cabin. Enjoy strolling through the olive groves, or chill in one of the cosy chill-out areas –including the roof terrace with stunning views, perfect for an afternoon meditation.
We offer 6 times a week 2 times a day open yoga sessions. Our main outdoor yoga platform has a stunning view over the countryside and a smaller one is tucked away in our olive grove. Inside the main building we have 2 more yoga rooms, the smaller one overviewing the village and the large one the countryside.
The retreat center offers the right environment for unwinding and relaxing.
Cooked with love! Enjoy the large breakfast buffet on the terrace with view over the countryside. It includes a selection of fresh fruits, homemade bread, a variety of cheese, homemade jams, porridge, yoghurt, orange juice, coffee and a good selection of teas. At lunchtime (at 2 pm) we serve homemade soup and salad.
The tasty vegetarian-vegan dinner buffet comes with a variety of freshly cooked regional dishes. Organic Tea and water are available all day.
Dr. Harikrishnan Maniparambil comes from Kerala in southern India – the region regarded as the birthplace of Ayurveda. Growing up, he was deeply influenced by this traditional healing system and later deepened his knowledge through his studies in Ayurvedic medicine (BAMS) at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore.
His professional path has taken him through renowned Ayurvedic clinics and hospitals in India, including Shafi Dawa Khana Hospital in Calicut, Gandhi Hospital in Udupi, HF Mission Hospital in Tamil Nadu and Sri Sri Tattva in Bangalore. For several years, he has also been supporting guests in Europe, bringing his expertise to places such as Ayurvila in Mallorca.
At the heart of his work is a holistic view of each individual. With great empathy and a trained eye, Dr. Harikrishnan analyses each person’s constitution and current imbalances. Based on this, he develops practical recommendations that meaningfully combine nutrition, lifestyle, yoga, breathing exercises, Ayurvedic treatments and herbal support.
His aim is to make Ayurveda easy to understand and practical to apply. Rather than focusing on short-term solutions, his work is about strengthening the body’s self-healing abilities and enabling lasting change. Structured guidance and regular impulses help guests integrate his recommendations step by step into everyday life.
The body holds an innate wisdom for healing. All we need to do is learn to listen.
